Prosopagnosia in competition at Clermont-Ferrand

Steven Fraser's latest animated short is currently screening in the Lab competition at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.

The festival

The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the world's largest film festival dedicated to short films. In term of audience and professional presence, it is the second largest film festival in France after Cannes.

There are 27 films selected for the lab competition and you can find out more about them all.

The film

Prosopagnosia uses expressive animation to investigate intimacy, communication and memory. Prosopagnosia means face-blindness and to understand this neurodiverse behaviour, the contents of a memory box are intricately explored.

Sketchbooks, photographs and diaries unravel to tell a unique and personal story.
